| The Process Associate will be responsible for documenting, developing, and improving the business and operations/manufacturing processes of Setex Technologies. Setex is a small but rapidly growing start-up company, and the main purpose of this role is to maintain control and find opportunities for improvement as the company goes through rapid growth.
Broadly, this may cover all stages: Sales, Order Routing, Logistics, Quality, Customer Support, Product Lifecycle, Compliance, and Manufacturing. The Process Associate will rert to the Operations Director but will also work closely with other Operations team members as well as the Management team. Principal (Essential) Duties · Start as a new employee by shadowing current process owners in order to learn the business and document (or update) processes and work instructions. · Determine which processes should continue under current ownership, but to be monitored for changes by the Process Associate · Identify processes that have no clear ownership or have grown in scope and need a dedicated owner. Recommend whether the process associate will take ownership or if a different external or internal resource is better-suited or more cost-effective. · Initially be trained as a backup for processes that need redundancy · Regularly review the opportunities for continuous improvement, especially in manufacturing · Facilitate Reviews, to ensure that the reviews and approvals are captured · Facilitate the gradual implementation of manufacturing MRP software functionality · Collaborate with the team to prepare for factory audits in 2026 and beyond

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field is preferred
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred but not required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
- Operate a computer, copier, telephone and other office-based equipment.
- Work for several hours on feet in the laboratory or manufacturing areas when working on relevant processes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects in a production environment and in the lab. The employee may be asked to lift, stoop, bend, stand for extended times as well as sit and lift items of 50 lbs. or less for one person. The noise level in the manufacturing areas can occasionally be loud. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is available for elevated decibels. PPE is also required when handling certain materials in the lab, during this time the company supplied respirators must be worn as well as eye protection when working in these designated areas of the production department.
